Charles W. Crews, Jr., (Chuck) has been helping people with legal issues since his law school graduation in 1991. He served as an Air Force JAG for eight years, achieving the rank of Major. While serving his country, Chuck had the opportunity to perform estate planning services for many high-ranking officers. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Chuck and his family moved to the Greenville, South Carolina, area in 2001. Chuck joined a major Wall Street investment services firm as a financial advisor and then became an independent advisor in 2006. At that time, Chuck began providing estate planning services to clients. Now, he is the sole owner of Crews Law Offices. Chuck is licensed to practice law in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.

Chuck graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1984, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting. After practicing as a Certified Public Accountant, Chuck enrolled at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a member of the Criminal Justice Moot Court team and served as Associate Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1991.

Chuck has been married to Virginia Davis Crews since 1989. They have two children. Chuck and Virginia are actively involved in community service. Chuck has served as a treasurer for several organizations including his neighborhood, Chicora Voices youth choir, his son’s Boy Scout troop and school PTA. Chuck actively supports the schools his children attend. Virginia actively supports her children’s schools, serves on the board for United Ministries, and is involved in various other community service organizations. The Crews family actively supports Rise Against Hunger and has been involved in the packaging of over one million meals through that organization.

In his free time, Chuck enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with his family. He can often be seen standing by the pool as a stroke and turn judge for swim meets for Team Greenville, Eastside High School, and in the SAIL program.
