Charles W. Crews, Jr., (Chuck) has been helping people with legal issues since his law school graduation in 1991. He served as an Air Force JAG for eight years, achieving the rank of Major. While serving his country, Chuck had the opportunity to perform estate planning services for many high-ranking officers. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Chuck and his family moved to the Greenville, South Carolina, area in 2001. Chuck joined a major Wall Street investment services firm as a financial advisor and then became an independent advisor in 2006. At that time, Chuck began providing estate planning services to clients. Now, he is the sole owner of Crews Law Offices. Chuck is licensed to practice law in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.
Chuck graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1984, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting. After practicing as a Certified Public Accountant, Chuck enrolled at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a member of the Criminal Justice Moot Court team and served as Associate Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1991.
Chuck has been married to Virginia Davis Crews since 1989. They have two children. Chuck and Virginia are actively involved in their church and community service. Chuck is a former treasurer for his neighborhood home owner association, Chicora Voices youth choir, Stone Academy PTA, and his son's Boy Scout troop. He still actively supports the schools attended by his children. Virginia actively supports her children’s schools, serves on the board of the Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network, an organization that assists homeless families, and is involved in various other community service organizations. The Crews family actively supports Stop Hunger Now and has been involved in the packaging of over one million meals through that organization. They have founded Heart to Hand, a non-profit with a purpose of helping upstate organizations host food packaging events.
In his free time, Chuck enjoys playing golf, watching his children perform in community theatre, watching and judging swim meets and spending time with his family.
